A couple of years ago, a small group was set up to attempt to map out some walking routes throughout the village.
Now that spring is almost here and once the swampland that surrounds us has dried out a little, maybe you would like to explore some of these routes for yourself?
Check out the routes HERE, there are varying distances from under 2 miles to 8 miles. All routes are circuitous, so can be joined at any point and walked in either direction.
The map can be saved to your computer and printed out for you to take with you.
Please make sure you stick to the official footpaths - although these may not always be clearly marked!
Ensure you follow the Countryside Code, take care when walking on roads and crossing railway lines and be warned that some of these routes can be a little tough going, please wear the correct boots for the longer routes!
