Details of how to report faulty streetlights within the parish of Cliffe, South Duffield and Lund...
The streetlights within the Parish are split into two groups...there are those owned by the Parish itself, and those owned by North Yorkshire County Council.

Some of the NYCC lights are operated under their 'Part Night Light' scheme, which means that they are turned off from midnight until 5am to reduce energy costs. All of the Parish-owned lights are currently on all night.

At the beginning of 2020, the Parish Council took up a service contract meaning that streetlights within the Parish are now ALL maintained by North Yorkshire County Council and can be reported as being faulty by dropping a quick message here, including the details of the faulty light, or using this website's contact form at the bottom of the page.

Most streetlights will be repaired within a week or two after reporting...however, we are currently in the process of upgrading our streetlights to LED and sometimes streetlights have more complicated faults where non-standard parts are required and these may take several weeks to repair.
